I learned about Vo Roof while searching Trip Advisor for an inexpensive Vietnamese restaurant close to my hotel. My sisters and I went for dinner around 8pm on a Wednesday night. We really liked the interior design. There was only one other table of diners when we arrived, and no new diners came in before our 9pm departure. I felt bad for the employees. A stylish space in the heart of Saigon. The food was tasty and staff kind and helpful. Not bad value for money, but they say any first review gets a free beer/dessert not true, only 1 per table, so you need to make a choice who gets the treat! *as per reply of the owner we thought the first review will get “a beer of the day”. Lovely little place in District 1 good range of Vietnamese dishes well cooked and presented. Broad drinks menu with some different cocktails and upper shelf spirits as well as all the usuals. Friendly attentive staff with good English. Go upstairs to fan cooled terrace, air con downstairs. Pleasant music at reasonable volume. Hard to beat prices particularly for such a nice place and quality of food and drink. Great for drink and snacks or full meal.
Fantastic place food is very reasonably priced for the quality, the vibe, and the service. The decor is beautifully done with lots of greenery on the rooftop. Mains are 70 150k and juices are around 50k. Highly recommend!
The place is so beautiful and cozy. The staff are nice and friendly. The food are so delicious, the price is reasonable. I would like to come back here again in the future. Thank you so much
Food was pretty good, vibes were on point and service was really warm! Two qualms though cocktail was way too sweet and strongly flavoured, could do with more tonic water. And secondly, the rooftop part of the experience was arguably the most uncomfortable because of how hot humid it gets. There are fans around but it’s mostly dispersing hot wind. Not sure if there’s rly anything they could do about it though
