the place was small, but eating was so good! probably the best garlic-miso motsu udon I had in japan! it is also part of the 2021 michelin guide so they know that they don't go wrong here. highly recommended! View all feedback.
Local taste, hot pot udon, delicious! and try to mix rice, dear!
Best udon I have ever tasted served in claypot, plus the prices are reasonable!
We go there expecting a claypot udon topped by meat or tofu, but upon reaching there it was pig innards (stomach and intestines). We brace ourselves as it is packed by locals. We order one for share, but ho and behold, it is very delicious. The innards are very soft, and tasty, because it is flavored before. The soup is miso based, cooked with dried kombu/seaweed. So it is very tasty. Even though we eat it with bowl of rice, we still hungry for more. So we order additional bowl. It is that tasty. You will seldom find a place selling claypot stew with innards in Japan, it is a must try.
Known for their delicious motsu-udon. Had a great experience, even had to wait almost an hour from waiting on the queue until serving.
Awesome Udon place, The crab one comes with a lot of it. A place where locals from Toyama come to have dinner. I arrived at 5pm sharp and at 5:15 people already queue outside.
