If I were to be critical, the rice was slightly overcooked, likely because it had been sitting in the kitchen for a while, and some of the pork belly pieces I tried were a bit dry. But these are minor issues that didn't detract much from the experience.

What User doesn't like about Summerie's Thai Idalia:
Weird guy in yellow apron visibly groans when he has to interact with males. Drunken noodles wasn't really nice but spring rolls were great. Overall 3 stars if not for creep vibes View all feedback.
The food was excellent! I tried the special bark soup, and it was very delicious. My wife enjoyed her green chicken curry as well. The prices were reasonable too. We had a great experience!
Thai cuisine is my favorite, and I've dined at many Thai restaurants from Sydney to Cairns. Unfortunately, this has been my worst experience to date. I waited around 45 minutes for my food to arrive, and when it finally did, the taste was incredibly disappointing. I'm fine with waiting, but the food has to justify that wait. The chicken skewers, which were meant to be an appetizer, arrived after my main course, and they tasted nothing like authentic Thai food. Overall, I'm really let down by this place. It doesn’t even deserve a one-star rating.

There is a small problem with outdoor seating—the presence of a few flies can be annoying while you eat, and seating is limited, which could be an issue on busy nights. Overall, the dining experience is great if you want to enjoy Thai cuisine in Townsville. They also offer takeout. Expect to pay a bit more than other dining spots in the area, but it’s worth trying something new.
I have eaten a few times at summerie, both in and take, and never disappointed. the personal is friendly and the restaurant is clean and tidy. the front of the brochure menu shown below informs them about useful information, such as general allergy information, possible price changes and that the food they use may not look exactly as those in the pictures. it is a very attractive menu, showing a lot of oriented, and also uses a small cartoon to display the spice of eating. on the photos below I have the mixed seafood pad thai and satay chicken. the pad thai was very tasteful, the reisnudels were not overboiled and there was a good amount of seafood in it. the satay chicken is a personal favorite of my juicy and tender chicken and a potent erdnuss sauce. I have a special time in the restaurant for the satay chicken lunch special and it was also served with a fresh salad that I had not expected as it was not included on the menu so that was impressive. it may seem a little expensive, but compared to other Thai restaurants that I had other similar or pricier meals. I think the price is acceptable and the portion size is good, so the money is worth it.
Love eating, but last time I had to wait more than 30 minutes after they said the order was ready. other 1h 40m tonight.
