One of my favorite local Indian spots! The service is great, and the food is amazing! Butter chicken is my favorite, but the Rogan Josh is also good too. Tried Saag Paneer for the first time here and loved it! If you're looking for a cozy place to dine, this is it! View all feedback.
What Barry Bayles doesn't like about Copper Chimney Indian Restaurant Bar:
This was our first time here. We are veterans of Indian cuisine, having lived overseas for several years. We enjoyed the variety of the buffet it was all fresh tasty. Unlimited Naan bread is hard to beat. Our only negative was the cleanliness of the bathrooms. They REALLY needed cleaning. The restaurant itself appeared clean neat however. We'd eat there again, but would use the restrooms before arriving. The service... View all feedback.

Buffet is self serve and plenty of options vegetarian and meat. Each item really is distinct and super delicious as it is kept hot and steamy. I went 3 x the week I found out about this place and there is a rotating array on the veggies. Always 3 kinds of chicken at least as on weekends they added chicken 65/chilli chicken and a really good boneless lamb curry, maybe it's $1.50 higher than Mon-Fri. Well worth it. Not super salty, nothing swimming in oil coating. Much appreciated.
Usually we end up here when it's fairly empty but the carry-out customer base is constant. The menu is not too large, but the quality of what they make is outstanding. Service is pretty good, prompt enough but not rushing us through meals. The host and servers are always courteous and again, the food is delicious. The music isn't too loud, and it's culturally consistent but not distracting. Vegetarian options: It's Indian food, half the menu is vegetarian. Dietary restrictions: There is no beef on the menu.
Best Indian restaurant in the STL metro. I’ve had Indian food on three continents and in dozens of cities and this place balances the flavors best. Service is great, prices are reasonable.
I was looking forward to sampling the lunch buffet, but we were extremely disappointed and I was nauseous 30 minutes later. The chicken Tikka had decent flavor, but chicken was really dry and tough. Tandoori chicken was also overcooked and dry. Paneer cheese tasted weird and half the vegetarian dishes were mostly mushy ģreen peas. Not worth $14. My friend is scared to try Indian food ever again. Worst birthday lunch I've ever had!
