Description

A rustic spot praised for well-executed steaks, trout and a standout blueberry cheesecake, this restaurant makes for a worthwhile drive from Pigeon Forge and suits birthdays and special dinners. Service is friendly and attentive at times, and beer is cold and budget-friendly, but inconsistent staffing, a strict seating policy for groups and unexpectedly long waits — even when not busy — temper the experience. Reservations are recommended for peak times; overall, food quality often redeems operational hiccups.

The food has always been awesome. Trout, steaks, etc. There is an extremely long wait time, even if there isn't a crowd. My opinion, the food is worth the wait.

We had dinner at this place and it was great. It was my birthday dinner and couldn't have been more perfect. My wife had the blackened shrimp and I had the Filet Mignon. We shared the entrees along with the sweet corn, green beans, fully loaded baked potato,The Surf Turf were cooked to our perfection, the veggies were perfect, not soggy at all. Our attendant, Bonnie, was very cordial, informative and has very good customer service skills. We plan to keep returning.

I visited this restaurant for my birthday, and I have to say that the service was exceptional, as was the food. I ordered the Queen Ribeye, and it was cooked to perfection. The Grilled Trout was fantastic, and the Blueberry Cheesecake was incredibly delicious. I would definitely return again!

Although it's a 30+ minute drive from downtown Pigeon Forge, this restaurant is definitely worth the trip. I recommend calling ahead, as we had to wait over 45 minutes on a Sunday afternoon around 4 PM. The staff was great, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the beer is both cold and reasonably priced—just $4 for a 16oz and $6 for a 22oz. What a bargain! Overall, it's a drive well spent, and everything we tried was delicious!
