Excellent restaurant for after the races. Steaks are seared to perfection. The wine list is spectacular and includes amazing bottles like château Iquem. Service is fast and attentive. The atmosphere of the place is really great too as a lot of the horse owners hang out there for dinner after the race. Excellent choice all around! View all feedback.
What Meredith Arto Winch doesn't like about The Wishing Well:
A very charming old building with a lovely piano bar and free valet. Service was outstanding, but unfortunately the food and drinks were overpriced. Menu could be updated to more accurately reflect the product. I could have easily made a better dinner at home in my own kitchen, using fresh, organic ingredients. View all feedback.

Solid atmosphere and great service. Unfortunately the food doesn’t match the service and cost. It’s very basic and nothing really blows you away. I guess we like more of a flare or creative menu. Hamlet ghost, 15 church, solevo osteria dannies are all better at same or less expensive cost.
The Wishing Well was an elegant fine dining experience. From the valets, bartender, owner and servers, all of the details were superb. The chef deserves a standing ovation. Each dish was perfectly crafted with seasoning and taste. We will definitely return.
Went on a Saturday night but had a reservation for a party of 6. We were seated in a corner round table and were immediately took our cocktail order. Their martinis’ presentation was very good. Everyone ordered something different from liver Pâté to prime rib. Portions were large and we had to get to-go boxes for the prime rib. Highly recommend their sister restaurant in town the Brook Tavern. Valet parking only and a piano bar.
The food was absolutely amazing! Each bite was mouth-watering and something that you wanted to savor. The atmosphere was so peaceful and joyous, there was a singer/pianist inside. Very romantic ! We chose to eat out on the patio which we had privately to ourselves. The server outmatched any server that we've seen in the past 2 years. She knew proper table etiquette, she knew how to let us eat peacefully but when we needed something was always right there at the perfect time. She didn't push things and was able to recommend the best dishes. 10/10 doesn't match the quality in service we received. We made it a point to set an anniversary date to go back every year. I'm so looking forward to next year's trip just for the food and im hoping our amazing server is still there
