I guess they were busy the day we went In For lunch because it took 20 minutes for someone to come to our table. That was unusual, the wait staff is always on the up up. Food was delicious waitress was nice apologetic. Love going here! View all feedback.
What Tricia Brandt doesn't like about Skylark Diner:
I love diners. They give you a ton of food for your money but I am very disappointed that there is no wheelchair access to the diner.they have stairs on both sides of the diner why not put a ramp on one of them?. I thought that was code?!? Anyway my 92 yr old mother had a very hard time getting up the stairs without the use of her walker..and the waitress seemed very slow to take our order. The waitress had an attitude from the moment we walked in. Food took a really long time and was bland. Told the girl at the front the meals were charged wrong and she simply said there was nothing SHE could do about it and charged us… could’ve gotten someone else to fix it. Was an easy fix she couldn’t be bothered to do. Won’t be back
This was my 1st time eating here. Met a friend for lunch.Our waitress was Jessica. I started with a cup of tea while deciding what I was going to have . My waitress brought me a cup of water and the tea bag . On her next trip back I asked for honey and got 1 little packet . I also had to ask for lemon next time she passed by .I feel this should have all been brought out the 1st time .I ordered a bowl of chili.When it came out it was mostly just beans and I had to set them aside. The waitress walked by and refilled my cup of tea with hot water waswithout asking .That was so weird to me. I did tell her the chili was way to much beans and her reply was yeah it has a lot of beans in it today. I really did not have a good 1st experience and no one seemed to care as I also told the cashier how awful the chili was and not even an apology. . It was not a pleasant experience.
Everything was delicious, and had that old-time diner feel to it. Pancakes were huge! Kid-friendliness: My girls loved their breakfast and kids to go cup.
My go-to for comfort food. The girls are great and the food is yummy
I sure miss living right down the street. Great food. Great prices. Great staff. Pretty quick if you place a pickup order.
