To start out the night the bartender was not very friendly. Next we were all excited about the meal. We had our minds made up what we were going to eat!!!! What can I say, Larry really outdid himself. The evening started with the kindest greeting from Larry himself. With one extra added to our party of previously 11, our host was happy to accommodate. We started with fresh out of the oven bread that was exceptional. We then tried the Hungarian mushroom soup which one member of our party said “I would love to be buried in this soup”. The prime rib was the fan favorite as many of us opted for the “king” size. From the local paintings, the stuffed black bear, and beautiful glass windows, the decor enhanced the experience. Will definitely be coming back for years to come.
Service was fantastic, food was really good, better than 4 stars but not 5
Some fun/different things on the menu in an iconic North Woods supper club setting. Food was top-notch. The only reason I gave service a 4 was shortage of staff...if you're looking for a hospitality job in the Boulder Junction area, give them a call. Seems like a fun place to work.
Very nice place with good and good service. Be sure to stop in if you get the chance.
