We went to Little Bohemia with a party of 5 adults. We had a great experience! The hostess was lovely! Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu. There were several specials. We had cheese curds and spinach artichoke dip, both were fabulous! The history of the lodge is really interesting and we enjoyed seeing the original bullet holes in the walls from the John Dillinger gang. We had strip steak, shrimp, walley... View all feedback.
What Derek doesn't like about Little Bohemia Lodge Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews:
Nice place once for the history. Service was great and staff was great. We got seated, two of us, on a busy Thursday. I had the braised boneless short ribs. The meat was pretty tender but there wasn't much gravy to really make it pleasant. My wife had the filet which she said was pretty good. But, the filet was $42 and the ribs were $36. With one glass of wine and a soda our bill was $99. Filet isn't worth $42 when I... View all feedback.

We went here on vacation last year and had a great time/experience we wanted to go again this year and make it a tradition however we were treated so poorly by our server…Patty…. That we will not be returning. We were looking forward to going here all year and to celebrate my husbands 40th bday. Patty told us the specials , rudely brought us our drinks and then began to take our order abruptly acting annoyed if any questions were asked. I was actually scared to place my order and my children’s orders. When it got to me I asked her to please leave off the “parsley” sprinkled on top of the fettuccine as we knew our son last year did not like it as much on. She rolled her eyes and said “ I can’t , I won’t be able to get there in time and they’ll still put it on” and then said “ what and why is he allergic??” It was not ok to treat paying customers this way. When food arrived of course it was on there she almost did it purposely at that point) I told her and she began to grab my child’s plate away when another member of our party didn’t even get their food yet. I had to pull the plate back and say “ no that’s ok, he’ll just eat it”. She acted so angry about it I was scared she would take it back and remove herself with her fingers or spit in his food. She gave me the nastiest stare down when I said “ this is not ok to be treated like this”. We were nervous to ask anything else. Why is it such a big deal to not put the “ garnish” on top while it’s done? There should be a button or note button in the computer? All of a sudden we had a new server come who was sooo great, friendly and nice. We were relieved! I’m sure the other server went to her and complained about us although we did not do anything wrong. It’s appalling that at such a nice, fun place that isn’t cheap by the way.. we could be treated like that. We definitely did not want to stay and celebrate with dessert. I really enjoyed my cod. It was delicious. Other family members enjoyed their food also but the food came cold and the perch had bones in it. We told the new server the issue at the end and she apologized multiple times to us and was just so nice! It stinks that the whole experience had to be ruined for all of us. We were there special and we just didn’t get the good server at the beginning. Beware to ask any questions and just get what you get and pay for it! I really hope our new server got a bit of the 50 dollar tip we left! Unfortunately, I do not recommend this place.
The food, service, and atmosphere were amazing. Great to see a small part of American Gangster history.
Really disappointed in it. We both love the mob history and have seen multiple documentaries and movies on Dillinger. So naturally when in the general area we wanted to stop in and see the ‘Museum’ It’s $5 and has a ‘tour guide’ that just pointed at some pictures of Dillinger and Baby faced Nelson and some FBI agents . He didn’t even tell us all of the people until another tourist asked who it was as we were just standing there silently. We went into a room with a bunch of old newspapers assembled together and some old memorabilia. Again , the tour guide didn’t really tell much besides that the chair in there was from the movie theatre Dillinger was killed out in front of. The highlight of the whole thing was seeing the actual room that was shot up and the bathroom that was shot up. We had a drink waiting for restaurant to open up as the bartender said we’d have to wait for hostess to get there at 4:40 She gets in and seems annoyed that people were there waiting and was very short with asking if we had a reservation and when there was an opening. Glad we ended up going somewhere else for dinner.
My husband and I each ordered a different pasta dish. There was absolutely no seasoning on them. Very bland. Drinks were good. Bartender friendly.
