Cute little diner. Wasn't bad but got the breakfast buffet. Wasn't refilled and tasted like it may have been sitting there for awhile. I gave it a 4 star because it was a cozy little place, full of locals, and I'm guessing if we got the breakfast made to order it would have been great. So 2 for buffet, 4 for guessing : View all feedback.
What Strangelet doesn't like about Quack's Village Inn:
This place tarnishes the good name of diners. Like a charlatan's performance it looks the part but misses the point entirely. Their sorry excuse for a breakfast left my wife in tears for they gave her the wrong order on our anniversary. Surprisingly after pestering us the entire meal we found ourselves trapped within the tattered walls as the waitress refused to return with our check. Came for breakfast. Home fries were still hard, bacon was undercooked too. Asked for very well-done egg whites and asked waitress to recook twice. Still came back slimey!! Eggs came back to our table after we were finished with our meal cuz waitress didn't bother checking on them. Coffee and toast were good though.
Small quaint friendly establishment. The staff was nice and attentive.
Best Philly steak sandwich ever with lots of roasted red peppers. Root beer floats ?
Outstanding! Not only was the food excellent, the service was really great and the place was very clean. It was so good we went back two days in a row. Both experiences were equally fantastic. Having grown up in a restaurant I can't help but be a bit critical of things like cleanliness and food quality, and this place was aces. Kid-friendliness: Yes. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
