I really like this chicken, great for lunch, fries are wonderful. Not a corn fritter fan. But this is a great quick on the run type of meal.This Airdrie store is a good one

Been here a few times. Good, quick-ish fried chicken. Compares quite well to their Calgary Kensington location. Huge portions, tasty food, good value.

It's fried chicken people!!!. I have been going to chicken on the way for over 40 years in Calgary. Used to take the bus from Bowness to get 5 cent corn fritters . I now live in Airdrie read the reviews so I decided to check it out. Read the reviews of black fries, and greasy chicken. It chicken cooked in oil. Everything was as I remembered, crispy skin, nice and juicy inside. Fries were as they always were. I searched and searched but for the life of me couldn't find that black chip.7.25 for a big breast, wing and thigh! Fries and a fritter. Wow great deal , girl was nice place was clean. I will go back again in search of that elusive black French fry.

Amazing !. Overall great chicken . Normally chicken is not my style but tried it today and it was pretty good. I recommend the gravy for sure ! Everyone has their own opinion . The coleslaw was very fresh; way better than KFC mush . Definitely going again

Yay Chicken on the Way in Airdrie. Was excellent! Chicken was great! Fritters are tasty and the price is way better than other fast food places!
