Calm down. Sadly, Max's disappears... there used to be one of UB, things closed a few years ago (where my cup was hanging earlier), and then the one on the boulevard. However, the airport location seems to be strong. Good place for half-priced appetizers (after 4:00). Love their hand-cut pommes, but the real treat is Mile High Mint Chocolate Pie. Yummy! My husband and I ate here and enjoyed wonderful food and service. We were able to share a complete rack of ribs and went away filled! The baked beans were as good as Mom does (what much says! . The frits were some of the best I ate and the ribs were brilliant!! Cam delivered excellent service. I highly recommend Max’s Classic Grille!
After reading previous reviews, we were somewhat hesitant to try this restaurant, but ultimately decided to give it a chance. Many reviews mentioned slow and subpar service, but we found the ruby, ash, and single burgers to be excellent. We were seated within a minute of entering, and the hostess promptly took our drink order. However, it took about 11 minutes for our server to take our actual food order. If you go in expecting slow service but good food, you likely won’t be disappointed.
Take a deep breath. Unfortunately, Max's is disappearing... There used to be one in UB, which closed a few years ago (where my cup was earlier), and then there was another on the boulevard. However, the location at the airport appears to be thriving. It’s a great spot for half-priced appetizers after 4:00 PM. I really enjoy their hand-cut fries, but the real highlight is the Mile High Mint Chocolate Pie. So delicious!
The fish and chips were exceptionally tasty, accompanied by a delightful side of coleslaw. The service was excellent, and the prices were very affordable!
