What AdrianMole doesn't like about Sam's Cafe:
Staff are charming but side dishes arriving at different times means main course goes cold. Frozen foil wrapped squares of butter add nothing to the experience. Whole operation needs tighter management front of house and kitchen. Good location quieter than main drag of Regents Park Road or England’s Lane. Not cheap for the food offering, but use decent tea bags. Few tweaks could make massive improvement. View all feedback.
I was visiting from Northern Ireland and looking for a nice cafe. When we walked in, it was close to closing time, but the staff were still very friendly and accommodating. They gave us a table and our server was incredibly nice. We decided to try the all-day fry, which was amazing and even came with toast, tea, or coffee. Despite us rushing because we didn't want to keep them back, the chef reassured us to take our time. The coffee was fantastic. I highly recommend this cafe.
The food at this restaurant is decent and the atmosphere is pleasant. However, I find it to be overpriced, as a small coffee with scrambled eggs and bacon bits cost me over 18.00.
We arrived at the restaurant on a Sunday morning around 10am without a booking. There were 4-5 staff members present, but we felt completely ignored. After finally getting the attention of a server and asking for a table for 2, we received an abrupt and rude response of "Nope." We were not offered a vacant outdoor table or the option to order takeaway. We had been eager to try this restaurant for some time, but unfortunately, our experience did not live up to the expectations set by their Instagram image.

Despite the difficult times, they have not compromised on their service. Vural is a skilled cook and Serpil, though a bit annoying, is a great guy. It's rare for me to trust people, but I feel at home when I visit this café. I am grateful to have met them and wish them all the best.
The breakfast at this cafe on the east end is excellent. The staff is friendly and the prices are very affordable. Whether you're looking for a hearty builder's breakfast or a healthy omelette, this place has it all. They also offer delicious Turkish dishes and great coffee.
