Description

At this bustling cafe, diners experience a mixed bag of service and food quality. While some enjoy delicious breakfasts and appreciate the friendly, efficient staff, others face frustratingly slow service and incorrect orders that disregard dietary restrictions. Patrons commend the cleanliness and generous portions, making it a favorable choice for those seeking a hearty meal. However, the inconsistency can deter potential repeat visitors, particularly those with specific dietary needs. Overall, the cafe holds promise with its variety and fair pricing, yet it must address service lapses and food accuracy to enhance the dining experience for everyone.

Thanks for this very tasty, rich and also cheap breakfast: The café was located directly on our “Hotel”, otherwise we would not have made the way there. On the spot it was clear: with so many British, mostly craftsmen, there is “correctly what the fork”. Forget it, no, we've got it at 10. And this will last until dinner! Nice service, strong coffee.

There are great options available at this restaurant, including Halal options which is fantastic. My partner is allergic to eggs, so I asked if they could substitute the 2 eggs with something else and they gave us 2 fat burgers, an extra hash brown, and a generous portion of fat chips. Ordering through Ubereats can be challenging at times, as you may wonder if your message was read or if your instructions will be followed. Poplar Cafe did not disappoint and made my day by understanding and exceeding our expectations. I have had many negative experiences ordering online from various restaurants in different areas, but I am grateful that they were so accommodating. The food was delicious and to top it off, I ordered just half an hour ago and it arrived within 15 minutes!

This restaurant is decent for breakfast. The prices are fair, they have a simple English menu, and the service is fast. The coffee is average, they only offer concentrated orange juice, and the quality of ingredients can be hit or miss. Overall, it's okay but has potential to improve with some basic adjustments.
