Starters like aloo tikki and chicken tikka are often praised, yet main courses can disappoint with unexpected sweetness and a lack of authentic spice. Service issues, including slow response times, detract from the overall experience. However, some diners relish the value of combo dishes and generous discounts. The restaurant garners mixed reviews, balancing between decent cuisine and service lapses, making it an unpredictable dining adventure for enthusiasts of Indian food.
We went there for authentic Indian food carving and mostly we travel vegetarian dishes. the ambiente is good. the starters were good and tasteful and seductive and seductive. the main course was catastrophe. everything was sweet including garlic naan, extra hot spicy dal, made s veg. spicy hot dal was so sweet first and as cool will burn her tounge and that is good, but what was sugar in it first place. lemon rice is only rice with lime pieces and not the actual lemon rice. cocosy is a desert. so no good experience.
I took my parents here for a meal, because I thought it looked nice. an upscale Indian restaurant with upscale trips. what a disappointment. the staff was slow and unstoppable. eating was very moderate and was not even sharp when it arrived at the table. Beautiful small restaurant with parking, eating and service were great
Wifes birthday. Lovely night great food, great service, very nice atmosphere .a little noisy but end of month [pay day]. have been to mariutious and maldives tasting food, this was on par with them...highly recommended.
We did our homework and visited the restaurant on Xmas eve, At first we thought the satnav was going to direct us in to the Thames!!. What a location!! The dome is in view, the boats traveling along the Thames, what more could you want?. We were offered poppadoms as we say down, The menu wax first class. The only restaurant to allow a double dish main course. So you could have 2 main courses for less than a tenner. Not the cheapest, quality? EXCELLENT. Will recommend to all our friends. What a find.
