This charming village pub offers a welcoming atmosphere with friendly, attentive staff. They provide a great selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages suitable for all ages. The dining area is lovely, and now that the beautifully renovated garden is fully open, it shines brightly in the early evening sun! I highly recommend this pub to everyone! View all feedback.
This is a fantastic pub with excellent options for those with celiac disease. The chef takes great care to prevent cross-contamination, and they have a dedicated fryer for both the chips and the delicious gluten-free battered haddock. There’s a wide variety of gluten-free dishes to choose from. For anyone with dietary restrictions, this place offers an impressive selection. Price per person: £30–40.

The Barn at the Butchers Arms is perfect for a big family celebration. We had a wonderful lunch for 21 people to celebrate my mum's 90th birthday with 7 great grandchildren and all the generations in between plus a couple of dogs. Having the whole room allowed plenty of time for family to gather as they were coming from all over the country and we had space for a childrens area to keep the little ones happy. Sam and Claire were really helpful during the planning stages and on the day food was delicious and service flexible, prompt but unobtrusive. It was the perfect start to a big family reunion and a memorable big birthday for mum. Thank you to all in the kitchen and front of house.

I had a fantastic experience on a bustling Saturday evening. When I arrived, the bar area was quite crowded, but the bartender noticed me right away and quickly arranged a table, greeting me warmly. The service was excellent—friendly and efficient. I ordered a black pudding scotch egg as a starter, followed by a pork ribeye with vegetable casserole and new potatoes. My friend had the fish and chips, and both meals were absolutely perfect. I would definitely return if I'm in the area again. The cost for each person was around £50–60.
