The Wayside Inn - Towanda

I had a great meal at a roadside bar. The blue cheese was delectable and the wings were cooked to perfection.

I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now and I was very impressed. The atmosphere was nice and clean. We ordered cutlets and French fries, along with a drink. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I would definitely go back again.

I traveled over an hour and a half to visit this restaurant, only to discover that they only serve BBQ on specific days. Although I was impressed by the appearance of the bar, I was disappointed by the predominance of biker clientele. The warning on the door about not wearing certain attire did not give me good vibes. I would consider giving this place another chance if the biker crowd diminished.

The Wayside, AKA “The Bucket”, is a hidden gem in the residential neighborhood of South Towanda. The current owners have put a lot of time and effort into updating this local landmark. In addition to remodeling the interior, they’ve added a large deck and fire pit area. Now it’s one of the few locations in Towanda with outdoor dining. The Wayside is serving up quality bar food with options on the menu like cutlets, wings, burgers, sandwiches, and pizza. They have the largest variety of sauce options and some of the best wings around! It’s a fun place to hang out and grab a good meal!

Well run, legendary landmark of Towanda, PA. Great pub food, varied music selection, and has the echoes and ambiance of a neighborhood tavern that has stood for over 50 years. A hidden gem to belly up, eat a good burger, have a drink and relax.
