Les Lionceaux - Tours

Two minutes from the rue Nationale and a tram stop in the heart of this ancient city.This was our third visit and each time we were happy to enjoy a fantasic meal at a realistic price. My wife's salad was huge and full of the freshest produce - tempura prawns, chicken, strawberries, citrus fruits, a goar cheese tart and crunchy lettuce. My steak tartare was superbly spicy if a bit too finely minced rather rhan chopped with a knife.a realy good salad with inte eating dressing. A glass of wine each, a pudding of peach soup, toasted almonds and fresh French town of superb restaurantsstrawberries, apricots and cream was light and fantastic.We were lucky to get a table on the small terrace and enjoyed, as usual, the good sevice and charm of the delightfull owner. Do book as this tiny treasure in a town of many gastronomic treasures, is allways full.

I'm well placed to give my opinion that I've been there every day since Valerie took over the lion. The exceptional kitchen is made home with fresh products. Sylvain our chef is great a lot of taste uses the spices wonderfully. ... valou is a lovely woman who loves the trade that she is generous and that resentment of those you arrive. Small restaurant where you feel good. A few à la carte dishes, a quality gage and a very pleasant service, a warm and friendly atmosphere. Thanks for the service and the very good meal! We were 3 adults 3 children and we spent a very good time
