What can I say except that it was perfect? The cooking was flawless, the presentation original—a truly exceptional restaurant! The staff is incredibly attentive. Thank you again for this wonderful culinary experience! I'll cherish the memory forever!

Category: Fine Dining Restaurant Absolutely incredible! We each chose one of the two set menus offered spectacle, a more indulgent option, and projection, for those with smaller appetites). The menu changes very regularly, so it wouldn 't be appropriate to describe all the dishes or, given the number of presentations and unique combinations, we couldn 't possibly define them all), although seafood is a recurring theme. Refined and original cuisine, with perfectly balanced flavors and presentation worthy of a work of art. A magical and unique experience that you must try if you 're ever in Toulouse.

I’ll start this review by saying the food was great. Although there were a couple of things I didn’t enjoy, overall I was served somewhere between 30 and 40 dishes. You can’t win them all. However, I’ve been to several Michelin star restaurants previously and this one did not live up to the expectation of a two star restaurant. The service was wildly inconsistent. The amuse bouches came out pretty quickly, and then there was a huge wait to get the next course, and then another huge wait, and then dessert was served so fast. The whole meal was 3.5 hours, and it really did not need to be. (At the start of the meal I was advised the shorter menu was 2.5ish hours long, so the experience was around an hour longer than they said. The second is that I advised I was allergic to several fruits at the start of the meal, and they still served me a post dessert sweet which contained one of those fruit. That wouldn’t be acceptable at a normal restaurant let alone one that has a Michelin star. I’d really struggle to recommend just based on the service. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

We dined at PY-r and chose the 8-course tasting menu, and I can confidently say the food was among the best I’ve ever had. Each dish was a testament to the chef’s creativity and skill — both in flavor and in presentation. The duck was outstanding, and the garlic butter alone deserves special mention. There were moments we were genuinely lost in how to approach the dishes — a sign of culinary artistry at its finest. However, the service fell noticeably short of what one would expect from a 2 Michelin star establishment. Water was only poured once throughout the entire evening, and we had to ask to be served wine — something that should be intuitive in a restaurant of this caliber. The pacing of the meal was also too fast; the entire experience was wrapped up in 3 hours, whereas a menu of this type typically deserves at least 4 to allow diners to savor and digest each course properly. Overall, I would give PY-r a solid 4 stars. The kitchen delivers an exceptional culinary experience, but the front-of-house team needs refinement to match the level set by the food Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
