I tried the red chicken curry two years ago. I went back for lunch today because I wanted to have that dish again; I thought it was so good. Verdict: it's still delicious. The sauce has that delicate kaffir lime flavor that makes it so flavorful and typically Thai. The rice and vegetables are perfectly cooked and provide a very pleasant textural contrast to the dish. The owner prepares the dishes herself fresh and is super friendly. I wish she would put all her recipes in a cookbook, but I think that's unfortunately not possible.
This small restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, but their food is excellent. The owner, a very kind Bangkokian, cooks truly delicious authentic dishes, and does not use glutamate in her dishes. I highly recommend the green curry with coconut milk. I found flavors there that I was used to having in Thailand!
We had lunch at Pachinee's today. I hadn't been back for 10 years. It's always a real treat for the taste buds. Thank you very much.
This a tiny little place with just three tables. They have a small kitchen where the really nice lady takes orders, prepares your food super fresh, and serves it. Expect a queue during peak hours. The food is simple but flavourful. They have a lot of vegetarian options from soups to curries and noodles. I tried the tofu masaman curry which tofu and pad Thai. The food was nice but for me it lacked punch. The Thai milk tea was super nice
