Mijana - Toulouse

Having grown up in Dubai, I didnt find this food very authentic or special. The chicken shawarma was good but surprisingly the beef (which generally is a middle eastern specialty -they can do chicken wrong but not beef) was very poorly made...the flavors were bizarre and didnt make sense...they were missing essential spices that a shawarma are made of. To top it off my stomach got severely bloated after eating the food and felt nauseated...mind you in my 5 weeks here, i have eaten mostly red meat and havent had any issues..the meat at this place is not right (at least for me)..the hubby and baby didnt have any issues with the chicken though (but that tasted old to me as well). Cant reccommend the place for shawarmas.

This place has very good and inexpensive Middle Eastern food. The falafel sandwich, stuffed grape leaves and baklava were excellent. A great place for a quick bite.

This fantastic family run restaurant is a real find in Toulouse. The best Lebanese in town by far for a great value. I lived around the corner for two years and never went in due to its unassuming front and have been kicking myself since I first tried it. Their aioli which comes on the frites is fantastic. Highly, highly recommend.

Always as good, full of flavor and condiments that gives sandwiches a unique taste. All for the price of a kebab. nothing to say

I came back to mijana last night during a Toulouse holiday and well it's always a great Lebanese. I used to eat meat and vegetarian dishes today, it's always very good. I recommend a sandwich or plate falafel. ps: 4th50 for a falafel sandwich with fries, unbeatable!
