The food is different than the food of standard Chinese restaurants: less fat (healthier) less choice (fresher). The dumplings are excellent, the soup and desserts very good. The owner is very funny and friendly, calls half of the clients professor, and prepares the tea in a very traditional Chinese way! View all feedback.
Ok, from outside is not appealing, but inside you will feel like in China. The owner receives you with a smile and his great sense of humor. Everyone will be smiling or even laughing. The food is great, balanced and tasty. The tea is mild. The deserts very typical Chinese. The best thing, the price. You can eat a tasty and healthy meal for less than 10 eur.
I've eaten at Long Quan several times. I almost always go for the plate of tofu, green vegetable and rice, just 9 €. There's a lot of food, and it is SO good. THEY MAKE THEIR OWN TOFU, an incredible treat in France. My husband had the day's special, Peking duck (14 €), first time we've seen it on the menu, with the crepes and chopped onions, and it was excellent. So 2 main courses, plus a beer and a glass of decent wine = 32 €, and we ate well, felt full and didn't even want dessert this time. The owner is very friendly. The restaurant so very CHINESE, right down to the specials written on paper and taped to the walls. I'm afraid I won't be going back to China anytime soon, but Long Quan feels like I'm there.

Ok...if you are in south west france on holiday, you probably want to eat french food. But if you want to go a little left field...I would recommend here. The place only seats about 15 people and it is off some side street behind the main "capitol" square. The menu is very limited and a bit difficult to figure out as it is on numerous bits of paper stuck to the wall. I think in the end we just pointed at what other people were eating and told the host to just keep bring food. The food choice, although limited was above the standard of generic chinese restaurant food. Price wise, we could not spend money even though we ate everything on the menu. The host was good fun and the atmosphere in the tiny restaurant made it a good night out.Don't even think he had wine, but sold chinese beer and soft drinks. It's a bit different, but I don't regret going....and it was a good fun meal out.
