beautiful place, warm welcome and good attentive service. eating is quite good with a limited menu, but the dishes are fresh with good ingredients. However, with 3 curses it costs more than 40 euro it is overpriced for what they get. the wine list is also limited with trips from 24 euro and jumps very quickly to more than 40 euro. 3 courses for 2 of us with an average bottle of red total over 120 euro. because there... We were wandering around the Carmes neighborhood, struggling with the crowds and reviewing some of the chalkboards if we found enough room to stop and translate. Stepping out of the flow of students and fashionistas, out for their evening opportunity to see and be seen, we came across Les Enfants Terribles. One of the staff greeted us and pointed to an open table with a smile in her eyes. It was the start of a lovely evening. Okay, it wasn't perfect. As we were finishing our main course the skies opened up and rain started pouring down. We were protected overhead by the awning but got a little damp from the splash-back of passing cars. The important thing? The food! We enjoyed every bite. My husband had the beef sauteed with tender potatoes, shallots, seasonal vegetables, and a delicate sauce. I enjoyed the risotto of the day, creamy with chunks of squid and chorizo. We selected a light, red Côte du Rhône reccomended from the posted wine list and didn't regret it. We will return! Les Enfants Terribles was very grown-up and not terrible at all.
My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at the relatively new Les Enfants Terribles on a Saturday night. We started with two entrees - delicious and unique interpretations of the typical foie gras and salmon. For the plat, we had the magret de canard with honey and soy sauce severe with stir fried vegetables - wonderful. In addition to the great food, the wine list is quite nice. Interestingly, this list contains several celebrity wines (Jolie/Pitt & Barrymore). I recommend this restaurant for its refreshing twist on some typical French foods. The restaurant is quite close to Carmes Market.
Lovely little place that we found by accident. Small menu but food is great, nice wine list and great service We will come back
Really enjoyed service the sommelier and all their plates- Regional ingredients prepared simply but with skill- wine list is great- I am a regular!!
What a good table shared with friends last night! The dishes are incredibly tasty and the neat service! The tiger is crying and its sauce is crazy
