I was more traveling in many Indian restaurants and that was one of my best experiences. the tikka masala was delicious and seasonal was just perfect! Many thanks for the waiter and manager who was really friendly and was asked about what I wanted to eat with a sweet spot for spicy. I will return defenatly to this restaurant, the next chance I get. What Yves Mercier doesn't like about Le Taj:
I love Indian food but it's not easy to find a good Indian restaurant in France. As the reviews seemed quite good for this restaurant, I thought I'd give it a go. I also saw it as an opportunity to introduce my partner to the wonderful world of Indian cuisine. Unfortunately what we got was poor service (a long wait between courses, service without a smile...) and mediocre food, and at a price. I haven't lost hope of... View all feedback.
Avoid at all costs! Those who have rated this restaurant have obviously never eaten Indian food! You can get better quality from Aldi or Lidle. My experience...A single free popadum with watered down condiments.Starter = Chicken Tikka: I received a plate rammed with Lettuce and some morsel pieces of chicken that had been bought from a hypermarket. They were also obviously from the previous night. They were dry, tasteless and had a concertina effect on the surface. DISGUSTING! Take them away! I then had them replaced with mince in breadcrumbs. At least this was edible! At this point I wanted to leave, but I need food quick and was hoping that they could not make a curry as bad! Agnue 'lamb' or mutton in this case madras came. Now I know curries! This was basically a watery base sauce precooked, with an unbelievable amount of salt in it. Obviously this amount of salt had bred added as a preservative in order for it to last several days of heating cooling. A definite no no!!! Added to this had been separately cooked meat and a cheap chilli sauce added as it tasted separate in your mouth. It was so obvious from the taste.Avoid this place at all costs. Unless you want to burn your money, get food poisoning, or be put off Indian food for life!
Excellent food Tandoori is very good i think best indian food in toulouse good service all so everything is very well
Although there is nothing exotic about this restaurant, the food was decent and "TUMMY FRIENDLY". Excellent vegetarian options. What made the place stand apart is the excellent customer service that we received. Thoroughly recommend. Its only a 5 minute walk from the Metro Centrum.
