Ceasar salad we said and he said he could oblige us. So we sat down at this very modern bistro and had a glass of white house wine (good) while waiting.When he brought out the plates we were speechless. Never have we seen Ceasar salad so artfully presented. The hearts of romain lettuce had been quartered and drizzled with a balsalmic vinaigrette dressing that was intense and delicious. The chicken was mounded to the left in an aoli like sauce with shaved parmesan cheese. And this was surrounded by slices of bread. I wish we'd taken a picture of the plates but we were so hungry we just started eating. Wow.The salad was excellent and the host warm and gracious. What more could one ask for?

We arrived in trebes too late to eat everywhere at lunchtime, but when we went to le pasteur, the chap excused to be unable to offer a complete menu, but what w... read more We arrived in trebes too late to eat everywhere at lunchtime, but when we went to le pasteur, the chap excused to be unable to offer a complete menu, but what were we interested? ceasar salat we said and he said he could force us. so we sat in this very modern bistro and had a glass white house wine (good) during the waiting. when he brought out the tellers, we were speechless. we have never seen ceasar salat as artistically presented. the hearts of the romain salate were quartered and with a balsalm venaigrette dressing, which was intense and tasty. the chicken was hammered to the left in an aoli like sauce with sprinkled parmesan cheese and that was surrounded by broth slices. I wish we had made a picture of the plates, but we were so hungry that we had just eaten. wow. the salat was excellent and the host warm and gracious. what could you ask for more?
