Our first dinner out in Toulouse after a long trip from Toronto, we wanted something close to our hotel (Nemea Aparthotel) near the train station. A 5 minute walk from the hotel we found La Meunière and decided to check the menu. The food, wine...and beer prices looked reasonable . What John Doe doesn't like about La Meuniere:
We were looking for somewhere quick and in close proximity to the 'gare' when we found this place.It's a small cafeteria/bistro style place. A small menu to offer, we chose toulouse sausage and menu del jour which was in essence a shepards pie. The portions were ample but not for one with a large appetite. Waiting for the train and starving, my choice focused on this brewery located just a step from Matabiau Station in Toulouse... The menu offers various dishes, including regional dishes, all more soothing than the other Duck Confit, Saussice of Toulouse, magret... I finally chose to take a cassoulet What to say except that it's the best I had the opportunity to eat! A delight I'm not ready to forget. In addition the welcome is warm and the very reasonable prices given the quality and quantity of the dish.. I strongly advise you to stop there, you can only be conquered
