discovered by chance, I go there regularly to leave. Everything is very good, I only tested vegetarian dishes but it was perfect. desserts are not too sweet. and the staff is so kind, I've never seen so much goodness for the sick. and we offer you tea in the jasmine until the food is ready! What Hugues Maury doesn't like about La Maison des Nems:
It is a small Thai restaurant. Owners are a Thai couple who live in France for almost 40 yrs. A few simple dishes. I had a set come with spring roll with beef filling, shrimp fried rice and Thai milk tea. It cost less than 15 euro. View all feedback.
The place is simple, the owner is really welcoming and the food is just astonishingly good. It's fresh and tasty. The pad thaï especially is fantastic, but all the other dishes are really great too.Beware if you go there during rush hours (noon to 1pm) you might wait quite a bit: that's the price to pay for having delicious food prepared on the instant, and once you'll taste it you'll be more than happy that you waited :)
A Really Bad Deal News are disgustingly greasy with a really thick crust the fillings are mostly rice noodles with maybe specks of vegetables for the vegetarian one and absolutely no shrimps in the shrimp one and they are really small to.... AND THE PRICE IS REALLY ABUSIVE
The place and the menu are very simple - but that's what I love about la Maison des Nems. The pad thai and spring rolls are to die for. The place and price are very student-friendly, definitely one of my favourite places in Toulouse.
I got bobun crevette and my friend got bobun poulet at 8.50€ each. I found it a bit expensive for simple take out. Also I found my bobun crevette too salty although it was good. My friend found her bobun poulet a bit spicey which she didn't mind. Considered the lady is very kind and it's not often I find good Asian food in Toulouse, I would recommend. But I would recommend to make bobun less salty it just killed the good ingredients.
What a great find - went here based on trip advisor reviews and it was delicious! It's a bit "fast food" feel and not really a restaurant, but it's home cooked on the premises and everything was really tasty. We had the 13€ menu - the crab and prawn spring roll (nem) was the tastiest of the 4 different ones we tried, and I felt the beef pad Thai was the tastier one because we like a bit of spice. The host is very welcoming and friendly. Shame it closes so early, but it is winter schedule (open til 9.30pm, closed Sat eves and Sundays). Definitely worth a visit!
