After a long day of driving and sightseeing we needed a good relaxing meal. Our hotel recommended La Bascule. It was a very short walk from the hotel. Not having to drive again made it appealing. We both ordered different cuts of steak. While mine was a little tough, it was very flavorful. Good salad, pommel frites and a nice glass of wine made it fun.

Le restaurant s'appelle Chez Carmen. Assiettes classiques d'une brasserie avec frites. Spécialisé dans les abats. Le restaurant est grand, adapté pour des groupes. Le décor chargé d'objets sympathiques. Service pince-sans-rire.
