The steak is bad. The meduim is partly rare and yet you can't cut it by knife. Generally, this place is among other places in France including paris, they normally don't offer good cuts of meat that does not have legaments nor tissues that needs a pair of cissors to cut. View all feedback.
We had a lovely lunch at this restaurant. Brilliant from start to finish. The service was excellent. The food choice too. I had a well priced menu with a fabulous salad and gorgeous dessert (enough to share!) and my partner had a great fish dish. The ambiance is amazing. Just off the main square: not to be missed!
Nice and quick lunch in this typical but very modern French restaurant. My girlfriend ordered an entrecôte which was ok and I had moules mariniere.... probably because I always take them, I was expecting something very good but obviously not the best decision this time. There was not much sauce which you expect with this dish and not much flavour too, therefore I have eaten much better.However there was quite a few desserts on display which looked all good and we ordered a couple of them to share. They were both amazing and I have to say that they made our day!The service was good too, quick and efficient! Overall a nice day but the food to be revisited...
Happened on the place looking for a simple decent lunch. Service good, comfortable ambiance and lots of choice of plats and menus. Sadly the lasagne on the 2 course menu might have been good when first cooked, but my portion had been reheated several times (dry and crisp around the edges) and wasn't even hot. The salad with it was dry (no dressing) and tasteless. My husband's chicken fillet with chips and salad was ok but no better than that. Desserts good, Choice of wines by the glass ok. I wouldn't try to find the place again.
Nicely presented food and tasteful decor but flavourful?......no! Very bland. We had lunch....tomatoes in oil for hubby, which was too cold so had no flavour and salmon paste in a kilner jar for me which didn't taste of anything. Seafood risotto for main sounded hopeful, but again, no flavour which was a pity as the ingredients were all there in decent quantities. Don't bother.
A very good French restaurant with a great quality of food and service. A beautiful place and inexpensive! Highly recommended ????????
