Sitting outside is fine though some tables are so close to the road motorists could share your supper...too many tables too close to the road! Service was fine and staff very helpful and friendly, can't find fault there. Entrees were again pleasant enough without being exceptional. The beef ribs were as described slow cooked and very tender. Others in our party had the sirloin steaks (Faux filet) one was perfect the other inedible and while perfectly cooked the meat was so tough two bites was too many, tough as old boots. Staff very helpful offered to change it but our guest declined, no problem but disappointing all the same. Later staff brought a free house speciality dessert which was nice though it would have been better to remove the cost of the dodgy steak from the bill as it was largely untouched. Value is average at best and the steaks to share are horrendously expensive. Overall we had a pleasant evening but on reflection probably would not return.

We had booked in nearby L’Emulsion who despite confirming our booking were closed when we arrived, it’s pretty difficult to book a decent restaurant in Toulouse... read more We had booked in nearby L’Emulsion who despite confirming our booking were closed when we arrived, it’s pretty difficult to book a decent restaurant in Toulouse on a Monday so we decided to try Barbaque which is almost next door. I’m so glad we did, everything was outstanding, my burrata was the creamiest I’ve ever tasted, my first choice was lamb chops but waiter recommended the veal, OMG it was perfect, my partner had foie and a pork main which were both fantastic too. Waiters were so helpful and patient as we speak very little French, I’d return here tomorrow if I could
