My overall experience was great love the atmosphere the waitress was very friendly… our food was out in no time. It was hot and delicious… but this was the first that I got a Saturday special that there was no sausages and you had to buy eggs separately…i think for the price $38.00 it should be included View all feedback.
What Aviance Cogg doesn't like about The Mighty Crab Flowood:
Hi I normally don't leave reviews but the service was so horrible on yesterday When my family and I went. I normally go to the one on County Line but yesterday I was closer to Flowood so we decided to go there for seafood. The server Rihanna set us took our order and another waitress whose name I did not get brought our food out to us. For the money that we spent it wasn't enough food and on top of that our waitress... Awesome food , Creative work environment, and the waitress that works the bar, Is the nicest and most intulectual public server I've had the pleasure of meeting in any restaurant around the Jackson area all together. Her name is Miss Rebeka Roberts and the management better look out. The girl is driven and will be in a management position in no time!
We had the trio. 1 lb. Crab Legs, 1/2 lb. Shrimp, and 1/2 lb. Sausage corn in the cob Mighty Crab Seasoning, mild. All of it was piping hot and delicious! Definitely recommend this restaurant. The waiter Loui was an excellent server. He knew his menu. He was on point with refills. Checked on us quite often to see if all was good. Hats off to him. He will keep your customers satisfied and coming back. Friendly front door greeters also.
My husband I came from out of town for the day to get a little shopping done. We decided before we came to dine here. For an appetizer my husband got the cheese sticks with packaged Marinara he thought they were delicious I thought they were okay. They brought out our bucket, napkins, gloves, bibs, butter, lemon, plastic Ware, the napkins used to cleaning your hands, the crackers for the crab claws. We ordered 2 sweet teas (tea is definitely sweet which I like) they come out in to go cups which I also like. For our main course we got the Sunday Special 1/2Ib snow crab, 1/2Ib headless shrimp 1 lobster the sides it came with were corn potato's I ordered 2 orders of hard boiled eggs they come in 2's, I had ordered it Cajun Medium my Husband had ordered it Garlic Butter Hot. My crab was cooked to perfection, my husband said his crab was a little over cooked, but still absolutely delicious, the lobster was cooked perfectly, the hard boiled eggs were okay, the potato corn were absolutely delicious, the shrimp was absolutely delicious. Which there was also a bread service, two bread sticks which were good very good dipped in. They do offer desserts, but after our feast we were too full. Our waitress's name was Lisa she was wonderful. The decor is great, all the service was great, the food was great the only reason I'm giving it 4 stairs instead of 5 is due to the choice of music they play. It is not child friendly. I would recommend playing seasonal music, or hotel music. Other than that it was spectacular.
So the decor is cool. They need more TVs in the bar. The food was pretty good. They serving size was good. The bartender was very nice but seemed to be manager and bartender. They need a skilled bar tender. That will attract more regular customers.
