Awesome place for parties, and celebrations. Came here on a Sunday for an anniversary and was pleasantly surprised. Staff is awesome, with great food being prepared. The Hibachi was everything you could ask for, great chefs, and amazing food. Would definitely recommend this place, and come here again. Vegetarian options: Tons of soups, and salads. What Kadys Luker doesn't like about Fuji Yama Japanese Steakhouse:
Due to the food being extremely overpriced me and my girlfriend only got an appetizer each. The food was pretty good. Service was okay nothing too special. We did get choked on the smoke coming from the hibachi area. You will definitely leave smelling like food. I wasn’t going to make this review, since it has been a couple months, however I’m still disgusted by what happened. The front desk lady (probably the owner) is absolutely horrible. She is so rude. I made a to go order over the phone for the mango roll they have. It’s like $14 or so. That’s fine. I love it, it’s really good, I get it all the time. I get there and I’m paying and I notice it’s more than what it says online, and I ask about it. She said she told me over the phone they were going to charge an extra $1, “because mango is expensive right now”. I let her know that I had not heard that, and I thought it was unfair. She told me it was what it was. So I told her I did not want the roll anymore, she can keep it. She then proceeded to tell me that they had already made it, and it would go to waste, and that’s not fair. I told her I would be happy to take it for the price that was advertised then. She compromised and was like fine, I will give it to you for the advertised price, but then the whole time she had my card to swipe wanted to belittle me and tell me how I need to listen better and so on and so forth. She finally swiped my card and as she is handing it back is STILL telling me how I should have listened better over the phone. I was trying so hard to not be rude back. I told her I didn’t appreciate her talking to me that way, and if she wanted to continue I can just dispute the charge and leave the food. She decided to shut up then. She was extremely rude, and I definitely will never be back.
