My sister and I had a memorable evening at the El Desvàn de Tete . Calmly situated on the Avenida de Andalucia (next to the notary office), a little hidden behind one of the street trees covering the entrance. You enter a (kitchery) romantic patio full of greens separating each 2 tables. Soft (good) music in the background and kind reserved reception by Joël. Menu ready on the table (as we reserved on forehand). Few choices but... oooooh so gooooooood. Here we go: cocktail: mojito with fresas (please try the Mango as according to Joël that 's the best) amuse: small biscuit with persil, garlic and olive oil and one slice of cured ham main: Monkfish with pili pili sauce (we took the stronges pili pili and it was perfectly eatable), scallops and mussels with veggies as side dish (rice was the other option) dessert: Mango(like) icecream and lemon sorbet (with whipped cream) egg like fusion (with mango, chocolate, whipped cream and vanilla) coffee capuchino Tadaaaaa: all this for less than € 80 (2 servings). A must go when you are in Torrox! And a big thank you for the super service of Joël !

I had the tuna ta... read more We have eaten at El Desvan a few times now and it has not disappointed us on any visit. Garden terrace is lovely and the food is quite superb. I had the tuna tartare with Mango and mint ice cream to start and then the pork cheeks…amazing. The family all had fantastic food, a gourmet burger and a beautiful cod dish, there is something for everyone.
