A great decobriment! the letter forms various silverts that are ideal for sharing, tant els de marisc, com els de peix, de carn, els incomings or the arrossos.... read more A great decobriment! the letter forms various silverts that are ideal for sharing, tant els de marisc, com els de peix, de carn, els incomings or the arrossos. personalment, és un format que m'agrada molt ja que et pots confection una mena de menu degustació al drop. nosaltres érem dos i hem demanat 5 plats in total i desserts, i ha estat perfecte. the combination of tot drops that hem provat was encertada molt, i ens hem quedat amb ganes de provar la resta de platets. the nice molt cambrers in tot moment. the local decorat in an elegant way, molt acollidor.

Fabulous setting. Elegant and worth every penny. Beautifully cooked food with attentive staff. I cannot wait to go back. Staff keen to ensure the whole dining experience was a great one. Full of Spanish people which is always a great sign to us. Cannot fault it in any way

Nestled on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Pals. The sommelier and waiting staff made us feel instantly welcome. They were attentive at just the right level. There was a good choice of food and staff were very helpful in explaining the detail of some of the dishes and accommodating some minor variations to better suit our tastes. The turbot I chose was probably one of the most well cooked and fresh fish dishes I have had and compares favourably to some of the Michelin starred restaurants I have dined at. It was simply, yet perfectly cooked. From the extensive wine list, the somellier helped us decide on a mid range, local variety which was exceptional. All in all a very special evening for a special occasion.

I selected the scallops and the lamb, which were extremely salty, to the point where twenty fours hours later I still have a terrible aftertaste. I understand that some dishes may have a certain level of saltiness, but this was excessive and overshadowed the flavors of the ingredients. What made matters worse was the lack of response from the restaurant when I brought this issue to their attention. I politely mentioned to the waiter that the food was too salty, however, the response was indifferent, no feedback and no response! This lack of response from Vicus was disappointing and left me feeling very unsatisfied with this experience. I cannot recommend Vicus and it certainly is not at all comparable to what is written up on the restaurant. The excessively salty food combined with the restaurant's lack of response to my concerns left a negative impression.
