We participated in the cooking class. It was very nice and the food was great. But: it is not really an authentic Italian experience. Even though the cook was Italian, it was all commented and entertained by the American owner (who is very nice though , they played loud American music all the time (even when we asked for Italian classics, they played an Italian version of an American song and “Mamma Mia” . Seems correct to give 5 stars to this restaurant, I explain below why. We had dinner here in a week night of January, and we were the only couple in the room. Amazing! despite (or perhaps only thanks to) this, the waiter responsible for the room (really worthy of note, inexplicable and super educated) made us feel at the center of attention. courses marked at a perfect pace, served with care and presented at the restaurant level with michelin star. all the special proposals, linked to the Tuscan territory and with flavors balanced to perfection. ancient but well maintained environment. he sat right in front of the fireplace, very romantic (it is recommended to change only the lights of the room, a bit cold). absolutely correct prices for the quality offered (about 45€ per head with two courses per head, wine, water, coffee and shared dessert). sin being evening could not enjoy the view so enchanted in other reviews. It will be an excuse to return to the day! Thank you and the next one.

Val d'orcia, valdichiana, cipressi, vineyards, montepulciano, montalcino, san gimignano, places important for wine lovers. So we went along these roads, between a medieval village and the other we arrived at montefollonico. restaurant closed .was a fantastic surprise. I tried to call and luckily received the last table available (the evening the restaurant was full). we asked if the chef had the opportunity to make a degotation menu. Unfortunately this option was not possible. in any case the friendliness and sympathy of the service has solved the problem by proposing to us the goto of some dishes chosen from the menu. a modern kitchen with traditional roots and influences beyond Europe. delicious red tuna sashimi, china meat in the form of tataro, with a cbt of egg yolk, very good. continuing with a fantastic and very soft calfskin cheek and an exceptional carré of goose lamb. to conclude the dinner there were served two desserts that I would define spectacular; a chocolate in geometric form and a delicious mango. Well, how about the wine that took this dinner off the show. . absolutely top and, as script, to close this culinary adventure. . the eye of Pernice, an incredible saint vin in his best expression. I am the least that can assign to this experience.
We chose this place to celebrate the confirmation of our daughter. They couldn't make a better choice. the agreed menu has fully satisfied us, delicious dishes and presented in an original way. attentive and accurate service. excellent location and refined the preparation of the room.
