La Cucina - Torrington

I had a New York Strip and finally I have found a restaurant in Torrington that uses good quality marbled beef,. Sears it on the outside with a perfect warm red center. The mixed veggies we're sauteed perfectly and still a little crisp and the mashed potatoes are definitely homemade. I wouldn't mind them a little creamier but that's just my taste. The owner is very gracious and comes out to check on the tables if time permits. They were hopping on a Wednesday night when I was there and the service was still good even though my server was a little frazzled. I will return.

This is our favorite restaurant in town. The staff is amazing and the food is just fantastic. They even have gluten free options, you just need to tell the wait staff. They have a good wine selection and their desserts are wonderful. Recently they catered a party for us. The food arrived on time and was hot, ready and delicious and everyone loved it.

I have been to La Cucina dozens of times and never a bad experience. The food is excellent. I have tried all the veal dishes, some of the pasta. The Shepards pie is wonderful. The old standby, pizza, is just my style.. I will go back for more.

Great people, great food, great service! Owner is such a sweetheart, he made my nephew so happy. Waitresses are always on top of everything and so bubbly and sweet! You will never be disappointed eating here! I highly reccomend!

The food is delicious, it tastes as if it is prepared by a master chef. The seafood is fresh and prepared perfectly. Comfortable seating with pleasant helpful staff.
