Deacon's is a cozy spot that offers a mix of reviews. The food options were a hit or miss; while some enjoyed the liver and onions and Reuben, others found the corned beef tough. The atmosphere was a concern with cleanliness issues noted, but the friendly locals added a nice touch. Service varied from lacking to friendly and attentive. Overall, the family-owned restaurant offered good food, gentle service, and a welcoming vibe, making it a convenient and enjoyable spot for travelers or locals passing through Torrington, Wyoming.

Ordered a Reuben. The corned beef was tough as leather and the sauerkraut was way watered down. Food was served hot. The waitress finally came back to our table about 10 minutes after walking over to the serving area and asking for more tea. The locals seemed to be very pleasant. The restaurant is filthy. The wall next to us looked as if someone spat a loogie on it. There was a fan on top of the wall beside our table that looked like if it was bumped, you’d be covered in grimy dust. Dead bugs in the halfway-working fluorescent lights. See pics. Writing this post, we’re still waiting on our check.

Nice place were to eat something on the road. Family owned and managed, good point, young, but very gentle service. Salad was ok, salmon the same, some beer to choose between.

Best breakfast of the trip! Everything was delicious. The pancakes had a great flavor. The oj tasted fresh squeezed. My meat lovers omelette was packed with meat. The worst thing was the coffee and it wasn?t bad! Highly recommend!!

This is a great little restaurant in Torrington! The service was excellent and very quick. The brown gravy was one of the best I've tasted. The open face roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes was prepared well and tasted amazing. The breaded porksandwich was also exceptional. If you are passing through town this place is worth a stop!
