My boyfriend and I went to The Orchard because our friend was performing there... it was a great night! Jason, the host, was incredibly friendly and the locals were all welcoming. The atmosphere was warm and inviting in this charming village location. Thank you for a wonderful evening. View all feedback.

I was surprised to find that the recommended Village Pub in Week St Mary was closed on a Sunday lunchtime in late July, during peak summer season. We were staying nearby with a group of 15 people and had initially planned to go to Bude for drinks. However, we were led by a stroke of genius to try out the local pub before making the 20-minute drive. It turned out to be a fantastic decision - the pub was friendly, welcoming, with a great selection of beers and a wonderful atmosphere. Don't miss out on the chance to visit this place! Thank you for the warm hospitality.

This pub was rescued from closure by the locals 2 years ago- and that has to be applauded. But it is more like a social club that serves food to be honest. The beer is kept well , if a bit northern club-all those lovely local ales, skinners portleven, sharps atlantic, but available here is john smiths, and tribute , to be fair This is probably due to a tie in with a company though, and not a reflection on the people that run it, who looked after us, and were friendly. Portion were huge, if a bit 'chippy '-gammon good and steak very good -although a bit of fresh veg would not have gone amiss. However, after a day in the Cornish rain, hot food and cold beer was ok.
Very expensive for what you get didn't have many of the meals on the menu and food tasted very bland. Won't be eating there again.
