We recently stopped by this restaurant after a long day of Christmas shopping for a late lunch. We were once again impressed by the friendly and attentive staff and the spotless cleanliness of the restaurant. The cod and chips were delicious as always, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his Pelican burger. We were so full from our meals that we had to skip dessert! This place truly offers the best fish and chips around.
This restaurant offers great value for money and serves excellent fish and chips. The portions are generous, so when we returned a second time, we opted for the smaller portions, which were still plenty for two seniors. The service was good and the staff was attentive, although there was a long line out the door at 6pm on a Friday evening.
Visited Pelican Fish Restaurant. Nice polite staff but found the chips greasy and inedible ended up in the bin. Sorry guys but a waste of my money.
Unfortunately, the drinks selection at this fish restaurant is lacking. The menu is excellent and the service is top-notch. The restaurant is very clean. However, be cautious if you need a milk alternative, as you may need to bring your own. Despite asking multiple times, the staff still do not offer any alternatives. They claim to have requested them, but management has declined.
Can be a bit busy especially if a big party is booked.Went there on Friday and not disappointed.Lovely light batter and great chips.The Pelican is our local gem
