Nestled within a charming garden center, this restaurant offers a blend of delightful ambience and dog-friendly hospitality. While many patrons rave about the warm service and delectable menu, some have experienced inconveniences, such as limited seating and strange policies regarding reserved tables. Mixed reviews highlight issues like bland food and service hiccups, particularly with their breakfast and lunch timings. However, visitors appreciate the serene surroundings, including a whimsical gnome sanctuary perfect for leisurely strolls. Overall, this eatery promises an inviting atmosphere, making it a worthwhile stop for those exploring the area, despite some areas needing improvement.

What Argos109 dislikes about Madd Hatters:
My husband wanted a table by the window. One had a reserved sign on which was fine but there was one free which my husband asked for. He was promptly told that the table was reserved for people with dogs. It seems very strange to turn away custom because you don’t have a dog. We had our granddaughter though. Very bizarre. I made the mistake of eating at this restaurant recently. I ordered a ham and cheese flatbread, but the flatbread was hard and required snapping to eat it. The ham was dry and covered in grease from the cheese. The prices are high for the poor quality of the food. I would not recommend this place and suggest that you keep driving by.

Fab menu such a great little oasis of garden centre and restaurant. Great menu, great service, friendly staff, worth a visit if you are in the area. And totally dog friendly.
