The lunch special was exceptional and the fries are as good as they get. A great selection of Belgian beers. Highly recommended place to stop for a relaxing beer. Free parking is located behind the restaurant.

The staff were very helpful and friendly I have to say, however we all found the food disappointing, certainly not “Gastro” , expensive for what we got. The bar only accepts cash so be aware , no card machine. The inside of the bar is only tiny, yes most of the time because of the weather you can sit outside . Free parking available just outside

The owner Simon was super nice and ready to give us a much needed beer after touring and shopping in Obidos! The chef-we didn’t get his name is in Simons words a genius. And he was! We needed something quick and he made us a fabulous chicken curry with a beautiful side salad in 5 min. When I say Fabulous that’s an understatement! Obidos is beautiful but we would go back just to eat at Rex’s! Cheers to Simon for doing it right!
