What Homer J doesn't like about Gaijin:
This business is not for anyone but members of the Sandis Resort. We rode cab clear down to the site, and they would not let us in, because we were not guests or members. This restaurant should be taken off of Yelp because it is not accessable to anybody but those guests or members. How did this escape other reviewers? View all feedback.

Effrin is an amazing chef. He entertains with his stories and has a wonderful grasp of teppanki style Japanese cooking. Beware of the shots of tequila as they catch up to you but the overall shrimps and chicken with steak is excellent. The place is a part of an all inclusive but the quality is high enough to be a stand alone place. Make reservations early as it fills up fast.
No soy fan de la comida japonesa, nada mal
Wow pretty blown away by this hibachi place. I did not expect it to be as good as it did! You must make reservations here before hand and usually reservations fill up quick so make one as quick as possible when you can! Once you check in, you get sat down at a hibachi table and soon the waiter takes your drink order. The waiter also explains that the menu is the same for everyone which includes chicken, steak and shrimp with fried rice. The chefs soon roll in with thier carts and introduce themselves and start the show. Each chef has a unique way but in the end its all the same and reminds me of pretty much any hibachi place I have been too. Food was good but a bit salty like majority of the food here. Probably to match the salty american taste buds of most people. Also the food was little in quantity and unlike other resturants, you cant really ask for more because they can't make more right there again. I felt like I only got half the amount I should've gotten because the chef ended up taking a good 1/3 of what he made in each step (fried rice, shrimp, steak, chicken, veggies) for himself in the back. I just wished if he was gonna also mske food for himself then he should've brought more ingredients and not make us have to not get enough food. My reservation was at 6pm and I ended up getting hungry again and went to the itallian resturant around 9 for some pasta. Show was good, food was good just tad salty, service good, just quantity of food was too little. It was just a taste more than anything..
