The variety of the menu was great, they have very good Mexican food and an OK steak, Its not Mortons or Ruth Chris but is very good probably line a Longhorns or Outback quality, service is excellent but after traveling the world over I find Mexican servers to be amongst the best in the world. What User doesn't like about OK Maguey:
While this place is adorable and has a great atmosphere (seriously, it's possibly the cutest restaurant in Torreon), the three times I've eaten here, I've gotten a bit of food poisoning. I'm not sure what it is, but I wouldn't recommend this place. Ignore the 2x1 deal and find another Mexican restaurant. View all feedback.
We are again connected as a family after we arrived, drove overnight and a few more took three buses to get to Torreón for a family event. 17 of us plus a few...babies and we had a chance to talk and laugh and select exactly what everyone wanted to eat. The price was also correct

I visited OK Maguey with three friends who are major steak lovers Our waiter began by showing us a sample tray of their steaks. They also offer two each chicken and cabrito dishes and a variety of tacos. No pork or lamb. Only one fish offering,There is very large salad bar. One could make a fine meal from the salad bar alone. We began with very large shrimp cocktails and a tasty dish of guacamoleI had the fried white fish with French fries, rice, guacamole and a little salad. I have better at home. Not recommended. Each of the guys had a large rib eye steak with baked potato, onion and a chile The guys said the meat was very good. The restaurant has free, covered off-street parking. Of the three steakhouses we have visited in Torreón (OK Maguey, Garufa and La Majada), only this one has a salad bar, but their menu has fewer choices of beef and non-beef items. OK is a fine restaurant, but we might not come here again because there are better choices although more expensive.Total tab with tip was $1,250 pesos = about $25 US dollars each for four hungry guys -- the least expensive steakhouses we have visited.
