The difference is that here you order from the menu and the dishes are cooked individually and brought to you by the waiters, much better than having the food sitting on a hotplate. The menu is quite extensive, giving an adequate description of each dish together with a picture so you know exactly what you are getting. It is a fixed price, but drinks and dessert are extra. We went for dinner and were the first customers there. Four waiters were present and we were seated immediately, menus presented and drinks orders taken. Not wanting a huge amount on the table at once, we ordered a main and side each. The drinks arrived promptly and our food a little while later. After we had eaten this, we then ordered more drinks and another two dishes each, this is where it fell down. Two drinks arrived, but we had to ask twice more to get the other. Then one dish arrived, followed 5 minutes later by two more, we had to wait another 15 minutes for the rest of the order. No apology or explanation was given and to say that the staff were surly is not an understatement. The only time that one of them smiled was presenting the bill. The place was not busy with only four other tables occupied, a maximum of 19 customers including us. I had read reviews criticising the service but was prepared to give it a try, I won't be back. I could not fault the food, good quality and very tasty. Not large portions but given that you can order as many dishes as many times as you like that's not a problem. I hate to think what it would have been like if it was busy.

But we enjoy the choice and the fact it's been cooked for us not sitting in a buffet bar for anytime. We also like the reduced waste as well. Ordering what you are going to eat is good. We don't eat sushi but it is obviously very popular in there. We usually visit when it's quiet so we don't have problems ordering. Wish I knew the name of the young lady who has been there nearly everytime we've visited she is always pleasant and smiling. We enjoy the concept so will carry on visiting just hope they get the salt under control.....

We've already come several times, we get the place, the food is good but I write this to criticize the unfortunate gesture that a waitress had during our stay.... read more We've already come several times, we get the place, the food is good but I write this to criticize the unfortunate gesture that a waitress had during our stay. We had already ordered several dishes and we had a quiet lunch at the local for about an hour when the waitress appears and without saying anything it takes away the letter. I do not know if it is part of some internal protocol but gesture was ruin, unfair, regrettable, indecorous, malevolent ...., although my friend weighed an ironic smile by grasping the message, you have already eaten enough, you step down from here)Already without the letter we still arm ourselves of courage to ask for some more gambitas. these have taken longer to get out of due too...)We will surely come back but hopefully this criticism will serve so that in future times we will not be made of this gesture that gave us a deep discomfort and made us feel humiliated. If we want any other dish more than the average is our problem if then we don't want to have dinner or eat in or hours, that's our thing but for the Euros worth the food let us eat until we're sick, that's what your business is about.
