Location is great, you can either sit inside with a view of the sea or at the back people watch in the old town lanes. We are both smokers so opted for the back end of the restaurant. We were seated and given menus promptly by a friendly young lady. We ordered the mixed tapas sharer which was 18euro and a pint of beer each. The mixed tapas included meatballs, anchovies, olives, hams, chicken skewers, calamari, prawns and some bread. We felt it was great value, The chef chooses what goes on the platter and we were very happy. Tapas took a while to arrive but we didn't mind as we were enjoying our drink and watching the world go by.

I had the Gambas Pil Pil which was delicious and very filling, the bread was still warm from the oven and just divine on a cloudy, cold day.

It is th... read more My Husband and I visited the launch for dinner on a recent holiday in la. Carihuela. It has new owners and it has been newly decorated which is lovely. It is the ideal setting poking out on to the beach. The staff were nice and friendly. My husband had the steak and it was cooked to perfection. I had the launch burger which was delicious. We washed it down with a few beers. We will be back again next year.
