We w... read more This is the only English review of this restaurant, so should you need one if your Spanish is limited, here it is. WOW! What a fabulously luck find for us. We were driving past Lleida and I literally selected this place from Google maps at random and struck gold. We arrived at around 12.30 and that was just in time. It has lots of tables but filled up with local workers, local people and business people quickly and for good reason. The menu del dia was €12.50 I think for 3 course including a bottle of wine and water. I had a great salad to start whilst my wife had the vichyssoise which was amongst the best we have ever taster. She then had the salted cod on a bean stew whilst I had the tuna with a fantastic sauce and potatoes. Both were delicious. We finished it off with a beautifully made apple tart for me and a Creme Catalan for my wife. Both great again. We did not have the wine as we were both driving (very British) but it looked great. My wife speaks fluent Spanish which certainly helped the communication. But the service was great regardless. So if you happen to be passing by at the right time then do check this out. When we left around 1.30 ish there were a queue of locals waiting to get in. That speaks volumes about the quality of the food.
