What AJM of LS8 dislikes about Al Capone:
We ate lunch here on a beautiful sunny day in August 2012. There is an outdoor seating area where we sat, with lovely views over the marina. The food is fairly straight forward Italian fare of good quality. A touch expensive, but then you have to take the location into account. Overall I would recommend Al Capone. View all feedback.

Ideal for eating or eating. Apart from the variety of pizzas there is a good menu. attentive and fast.

Good food and quality. but the service leaves much to be desired. I understand that we are in low season but it cannot be that customers wait more than three quarters per hour to read to remove the dishes from the second and give them desserts. There is only one bartender for the whole dining room and it is impossible to take care of everything. The poor are very attentive but they can't take care of everything. We'll have to go back.

This is an amazing Italian restaurant! The food is amazing and caters for a wide range of diets. It's perfect for family or group meals as there's something for everyone with classic Italian pizza and pasta dishes, vegetarian, gluten free, and locally inspired sea food. If you pre-order, you can even have a roast pig! The staff are also very friendly and kind and most speak enough English for you to understand each other. I 100% recomend the Provolone and Pan de Pizza as starters and the pastas are a mouthwatering mix of the classics (I've never tasted a better spaghetti bolognese, even in Italy) as well as unique plates such as the Fiocci which are actually stuffed with pear and covered in creamy carbonara have a wonderful sweet and salty taste. The location is also very pretty. It's rarely too cold to sit outside so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the view of the port (and my personal favourites, the sounds of the boats creaking and clinking). There's plenty of free parking just outside the port, just meters from the restaurant. The port itself is located at the end of a lovely beachfront walkway so you can enjoy a stroll afterward to help with digestion! If you like, you can even spend the day at the beach and pop in for lunch (salty hair and all), so long as you're reasonably clothed, they'll seat you. A wonderful atmosphere with great food, perfect for sharing with great people!

My wife and our three young daughter's thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Al Capones. We had to make a return visit after having another first class meal earlier in our holiday. The premises is exceptionally clean and very well presented, with numerous members of serving staff who were welcoming, very friendly and efficient. Three soft drinks, a bottle of red, two pizzas, two pasta dishes, pan y tomate, four deserts and a mojito saw the bill at 110 euro. Whilst this may be more expensive than some places but cheaper than others), we feel that the value in terms of both quality of food and attentive service is excellent. Would very much recommend.
