Our trusted restaurant .. delicious food, fresh fish !! Nice and very kind guys .. it is the second year that we have been coming to Torre Vado and we are very happy to come back to eat here View all feedback.
Optimal . Highly recommended.
Kindness and quality
We had an excellent takeaway dinner, peppered with mussels, fried paranza and grilled sea bass, total €26. Excellent value for money!
BAD. If you love good fish cuisine and know how to recognize the quality of what you eat, stay away from this place. We had dinner with friends. The fish at the counter is few, defrosted and of poor quality: look at the tuna steak, phosphorescent orange in color as often happens with very low quality tuna. Octopus meatballs? They tasted like bread, the octopus did not arrive. Grilled octopus? Cooked days before, overcooked, hard, and soaked in oil. Roasted cuttlefish? Drenched in lemon, perhaps to cover the lack of freshness. Spaghetti with seafood? The seafood at times had a bad smell (certainly everything was frozen), the pasta was overcooked. Food containers overflowing and abandoned in a corner of the room. Fish fry? Decent, not inedible like everything else. Grilled prawns? Argentinian, defrosted, not bad in flavor, but I buy them at the supermarket. Of course, low prices, obviously because to eat these things... And finally, the listless waitress, to complete the picture. Oh I forgot, you eat on tables located 1 meter from the coast road, between cars and smog. Calling it a tourist trap would be an insult to tourists. These places need to be closed down, and those who work there would do well to dedicate themselves to other things, people without shame or guilt in foisting these dishes on people. An insult to good food and Puglia.
