We were recommended this restaurant by our Airbnb host but it was such a disappointment. The mixed seafood antipasto was all cold and very poor value for money compared to the antipasto we have had in Puglia. This place is pretentious and expensive and I would give it a miss. So sorry we went.
Turned up on a Thursday evening without booking for a birthday treat and although most of the tables seemed to be reserved we were accommodated. Sonya took time to explain and advise on dishes and wine. The seafood platter for two was amazing. This consisted of 5 different seafood dishes. The main dish of grilled fish and vegetables was delicious. The fish was brought to the table prior to ordering and then it was cleaned of all the bones at the table. Not cheap but would recommend for that occasional treat.
Found this cliff side restaurant after a very disappointing trek along several of the beaches from Galipoli south. We were looking for a quiet but clean and uncrowded spot to soak up the sun and enjoy a meal! Solatio is the perfect location with sea views and swimming access. The best part was the loungers were super comfortable and FREE! To the shock of us Canadians, other beaches charged up to 40 Euros to sit down and have a drink on a terribly dirty beach. The owner was welcoming and made us feel at home. We ordered drinks and lunch and then took advantage of the wonderful deck and swimming beside the grotto. A totally enjoyable afternoon. We didn't want to leave. :
