What Sammy Segal doesn't like about Gateway To India:
The food was shocking ordered the Dahl soup which was like tomato soup absolutely awful The mains were not much better which was the lamb dansak and madras .did not taste like lamb and the spices were burnt. The waiter forgot our drinks. This is the second time we have been here and I.will be our last Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1 View all feedback.
On holiday at La Torre golf resort and just got back from Gateway to India. Firstly, what a fantastic service they provide, complementary lift there and back, brilliant. I have been to a few Indian restaurants whilst abroad but this one was definitely the best Indian we have been to. Food was tasty, hot and wonderful service. I would definitely recommend and 100% we will return.
Great food, good portions and friendly, attentive staff. This has become one of our regular places to eat. Location and parking is on the edge of town with alternative cuisines in neighboring restaurants. I would highly recommend. Reservations have never been necessary as there is also seating under a canopy outside.
Don’t be put off by Roldan. It feels a bit like a scene from a western movie but is certainly on the up but we were recommended to try the Gateway to India restaurant which we did. Lovely staff and fabulous food. Service excellent and teenage kids said it was the best Chicken Masala they had ever had so that’s saying something. Dishes came out with their own little “heaters”. Lovely touch. Definitely worth going to and brilliant value for money.
La comida era buena, el servicio un poco lento pero bien.
Estuvimos aquí esta noche el 22/07/24 para comer mientras estábamos de visita, todos lo disfrutamos mucho y tiene una excelente relación calidad-precio. Realmente disfruté el entrante de pollo pakora, una vez que pedimos la factura, incluso nos dieron una oportunidad gratis. Obviamente fui hecho para tener sambuca, nunca la tuve en mi vida, gracias
